Who This Is For

If you’ve thought any of these, we should talk

Most people I work with aren’t beginners and aren’t experts. They own bitcoin, they know something about their setup isn’t right, and they don’t want to learn it the expensive way.

My bitcoin is sitting on an exchange and I know it shouldn’t be.
I have a hardware wallet in a drawer. I’m not sure I set it up correctly.
I wrote down my seed words. I have no idea if the backup actually works.
If I died tomorrow, my family would never recover a single sat.
I want to accept bitcoin at my business without a middleman.
I want to run my own node—I just don’t know where to start.
Services

What I help with

Pick one thing or build the whole stack. Every engagement is hands-on and ends with you able to do it yourself.

Learn Bitcoin, Actually

Plain-English sessions on what bitcoin is, why the supply cap matters, how transactions and fees work, and what “not your keys” really means. No jargon, no price talk, no pressure.

Hardware Wallet Setup

Choosing a device, verifying it arrived untampered, checking firmware signatures, generating your seed offline, passphrase decisions, and a real recovery test. Coldcard, Jade, Passport, Trezor, SeedSigner, Ledger.

Seed Backup That Survives

Paper burns and flooding happens. Steel backups, geographic separation, passphrase storage, and a plan that survives a house fire without creating a single point of theft.

Run Your Own Node

Stop trusting someone else’s copy of the ledger. Umbrel, Start9, or Bitcoin Core straight on a PC—installed, synced, and connected to your wallet so your balance is verified by your machine.

Multisig & Collaborative Custody

For amounts where one key is too much single-point risk. 2-of-3 and 3-of-5 designs, key geography, and walkthroughs of Unchained, Nunchuk, Casa, Liana, or a fully self-managed Sparrow setup.

Inheritance & Succession

The hardest unsolved problem in bitcoin. We build a plan your spouse or heirs can actually execute—written instructions, key distribution, timelocks where they fit, and a dry run with the people who’ll need it.

Lightning Nodes

Channel strategy, liquidity, backups, and the tradeoffs nobody mentions—plus honest advice on when a Lightning node is the wrong answer for what you’re trying to do.

Accept Bitcoin at Your Business

BTCPay Server, self-hosted or managed. Point-of-sale, invoices, online checkout, payouts, clean exports for your accountant, and staff training so it works when you’re not standing there.

Wallet Migration

A device you no longer trust, an inherited wallet, or a setup somebody else built that you never understood. We move to custody you control, in the right order, without rushing the part that matters.

Getting Bitcoin Without Drama

Exchange selection, withdrawal practices, recurring buys, and getting coins off a platform into your own custody without fat-fingering an address or paying a fee you didn’t need to.

Business & Treasury

Corporate self-custody policy, signer roles and separation of duties, written procedures your board and auditor can follow, vendor evaluation, and onboarding for teams holding bitcoin.

How It Works

Four steps, no surprises

You know the plan and the price before any money changes hands, and you finish able to do the whole thing again without me.

  1. 1

    Free 15-minute call

Tell me what you have and what worries you. I’ll tell you honestly whether you need me—sometimes the answer is a free tool and a good afternoon.

  2. 2

    A written plan

Before you pay for anything, you get the plan in writing: what we’ll set up, what hardware is involved, how long it takes, and the flat price.

  3. 3

    We do it together

Screen share, phone, or in person. Your hands on your device the entire time. I explain every step before you take it—and why it matters.

  4. 4

    You prove it works

We wipe the device and you restore it from your own backup, with me watching. Then you get a written runbook in plain language, plus a follow-up window for questions.

Standards

The rules I work by

This work only makes sense if it’s structurally obvious I can’t take anything from you. So here are the boundaries, in writing, before you ever get in touch.

I will never ask for your seed phrase or recovery words

Not to check them, not to help restore, not ever. If anyone asks—including someone claiming to be me—it is a theft attempt. Full stop.

I never take custody

I don’t hold your coins, your keys, or your backups at any point. Your funds never pass through anything I control, and I never sign a transaction on your behalf.

Your keys are generated by you, on your device

If I supply hardware, it reaches you factory-sealed and you set it up yourself, from a reset, with me watching but never touching. I never hand over a pre-configured wallet or a seed I’ve seen.

You hold the device. You do the clicking

I guide over your shoulder or over a screen share where I can see, but not touch. I don’t take remote control of your machine.

I don’t need to know how much you own

Please don’t tell me. The right setup depends on your situation, not your balance—broad ranges are enough to size it correctly.

Every recommendation comes with its incentive disclosed

I recommend what fits you. Where I supply hardware or have a referral relationship with a service, you’re told up front and in writing, along with what it’s worth to me.

If I reach out, here’s how you’ll know it’s me

I may contact you about a security issue affecting hardware or software you use—that’s part of the service. But I will never ask for a seed phrase or passphrase, never ask for remote access, and never ask you to send funds to an address I give you. Anything else is an impersonator: hang up and call me back on the number you already have.

I stay in my lane

I’m not an accountant, attorney, or financial advisor, and I won’t pretend otherwise. When your situation calls for one, I’ll say so and point you to a professional who works with bitcoin clients.

What you tell me stays with me

No client names, no case details, no testimonials with identifying information, and no referrals to third parties without your say-so.

Book a free 15-minute call

No pitch. Tell me your situation and I’ll tell you what I’d do. Most inquiries get a reply the same business day.

Please don’t include recovery words, private keys, account logins, or balances—here or anywhere else. There is never a reason to send those to anyone.
